Privacy Policy

The protection and security of personal data entrusted to us is of utmost priority to us. 1. Data transfer/data logging

During your visit of our website the web server automatically disregards log files that cannot be attributed to a certain person. These data contain the type and version of the browser used, the operating system used, the page previously visited, the IP address of the requesting computer, date of access and time of the server request and the file request with file name and URL. These data are exclusively collected for statistical evaluations and will not be forwarded to third parties.

2. Use of personal data 

Personal data will only be collected or processed if you have provided us with this information voluntarily. You may withdraw in writing your previously given consent to the storage of you personal data at any time and with immediate effect. Your data will not be forwarded to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so.

You may at any time inquire in writing and you will be informed correspondingly whether and which personal data we have stored about you. We will also inform you on the alteration and erasure of your data upon such request.

The personal data provided by you are secured by all technical and organisational security measures so that they are inaccessible for unauthorised third parties. When sending sensitive data or information we recommend sending them by mail as complete data security cannot be guaranteed for e-mail communication.

6. Google 

As far as our website uses the web analysis service of Google or Cookies you can deactivate these functions at any time. However, we must inform you that in that case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to the full extent.

This website uses Google Analytics, a website analysis service by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Processing of Order Data

We have entered into a contract with Google concerning the processing of order data and fully comply with the strict provisions of German Data Protection Authorities when using Google Analytics.

Demographic Data Collection by Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics' demographic features. This allows reports to be generated containing statements about the age, gender, and interests of site visitors. This data comes from Google's interest-based advertising as well as visitor data from third-party providers. This collected data cannot be attributed to any specific person. You can disable this feature at any time by adjusting the ads settings in your Google account, or you can forbid the collection of your data by Google Analytics as described in the section "Refusal of data collection."

IP-anonymisation

We use the function "Activate IP anonymisation". Through this, your IP address will be shortened in advance within the member states of the European Union or other contractual states of the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases, your complete IP address will be transmitted to a server in the U.S.A. and shortened there. Commissioned by the operators of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activities for website operators and to provide other services related to website and internet activities. Google will not merge your IP address with any other data held by Google.

8. Cookies*

Websites partially use what is called Cookies. Cookies do not cause any harm to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies help us to make our website more user-friendly, more efficient and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and by your browser.

There will be no further transfer of data unless you have expressly given your consent to such transfer. Your data will not be forwarded to third parties without your express consent, e.g. for advertising purposes.

10. rapidmail

To receive the newsletter provided on our website, you can register via our form. We use the Double opt-in procedure for this registration. This means we first send a confirmation mail with a request for confirmation to the e-mail address you provided. The registration will only become valid if you click on the activation link in the confirmation mail. We will use the data provided to us exclusively for sending the newsletter which may contain information or an offer.

We use rapidmail for sending our newsletter. Therefore, your data will be transferred to rapidmail GmbH. rapidmail GmbH is prohibited from using your data for other purposes apart from sending the newsletter. rapidmail GmbH is not permitted to disclose or sell your data. rapidmail is a German certified newsletter software provider which has been carefully chosen in accordance with the requirements defined by the GDPR and the German Federal Data Protection Act.

You may withdraw your consent to the storage of data and their use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

11. Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking*

This website uses Google AdWords. AdWords is an online advertising programme of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).

Within the scope of Google AdWords, we use so-called conversion tracking. If you click on an advertisement placed by Google, a cookie is saved for conversion tracking purposes. Cookies are small text files stored by the Internet browser on the user’s computer. These cookies will become invalid after 30 days and do not serve the personal identification of the users. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we are able to see that the user clicked on the advertisement and was referred to this page.

Every Google AdWords customer gets a different cookie. The cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information which was obtained with the help of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who opted for conversion tracking. The customers receive information on the total number of users who clicked on their advert and were referred to a page with a conversion tracking tag. They do, however, not receive any information which can be used to identify the user personally. If you do not want to participate in the tracking, you can object to its use at any time by deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie in your Internet browser under user settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
